Subsequently I used it to build several packages. Recently, however, I have not been able to update or upgrade my UX2 system, because the links (via rsync) appear to be down. What is the current status? Have the servers been disabled? I wrote to IanM via unixos2.com/pages/contact.html, and he suggested that I ask you about joining the beta testers for the new UX2BS. Presently I am working on porting to OS/2 the Hierarchical Data Format (HDF) software that is used almost globally for satellite data. Having the latest build system would be a great help. Denis, I've been trying to re-structure UX2BS as I think it was becoming slightly unwieldy. It hasn't really been updated much but the directory structure has changed a little. I'll re-enable the server if you like, but you'll need to give me a couple of hours. I'm still not entirely happy with what UX2BS builds when it installs, would would like to address those things over the coming months. Can you tell me what you have had success building? And maybe some details about HDF and what it gives OS/2 users? > Regards, > Denis > > ********************************* > Denis O'Brien > Department of Atmospheric Science > 1371 Campus Delivery > Colorado State University > Fort Collins CO 80523-1371 > > Phone: (970) 491-8587 > Cell: (970) 988-0413 > Email: obrien at atmos.colostate.edu > ********************************* -- John ----------- To unsubscribe yourself from this list, send the following message to list-request at unixos2.com unsubscribe ux2bs end
