I guess it's still a long way of trying to get this built using gcc 3.3.5... I posted the same to the os2-unix list earlier but for some reason the list has stopped working... nothing that has been posted to it since Friday is getting sent out -- John _______________________________________________ UX2BS mailing list UX2BS at os2ports.com http://os2ports.com/mailman/listinfo/ux2bs **= Email 2 ==========================** Date: Mon, 13 Dec 2004 20:19:27 -0500 From: Henry Sobotka Subject: Re: Perl 5.8.6 John Poltorak wrote: > > I guess it's still a long way of trying to get this built using gcc > 3.3.5... Maybe not. I spent much of yesterday playing around with 3.3.5 and plan to take a run at the new Perl with it over the Holidays. Someone has to bite the bullet and there's always spiked eggnog for the pain. h~ _______________________________________________ UX2BS mailing list UX2BS at os2ports.com http://os2ports.com/mailman/listinfo/ux2bs **= Email 3 ==========================** Date: Tue, 14 Dec 2004 09:26:02 +0000 From: John Poltorak Subject: Re: Perl 5.8.6 On Mon, Dec 13, 2004 at 08:19:27PM -0500, Henry Sobotka wrote: > John Poltorak wrote: > > > > I guess it's still a long way of trying to get this built using gcc > > 3.3.5... > > Maybe not. Sounds great! I'd imagine Perl is probably the hardest app to migrate to gcc 3.3.5. Once that is out of the way it might be time to make a full scale migration. I'll look to your progress with interest. > h~ -- John _______________________________________________ UX2BS mailing list UX2BS at os2ports.com http://os2ports.com/mailman/listinfo/ux2bs
