EMX looks to have installed properly but something, which I have never seen, appears to have gone wrong. Since the required files look to have transferred correctly, I would suggest starting again from scratch after saving your archive directory by moving o:\unixos2\archives to X:\archives. X can be anywhere convenient including o: Then include:- set repository=X:/archives in ux2_bootstrap.cmd - somewhere near the top and run it from the root of o: after copying it there, then running ux2_clean which should remove most of %bld_home% - apart from %workdir% which may also want to delete. If you do run ux2_bootstrap again, I'd suggest removing perl from build.lst and renaming update_base.cmd temporarily until ux2_inst has run as its pointless running these programs if an error has occurred. If PDKSH doesn't get built properly you need to stop the process as soon as possible after that and building Perl would be pretty pointless. I hope you followed that. Sorry for any inconvenience, but the system has worked reliably for over two years and I haven't seen any problems like those you have experiened, but I'd like to get to the bottom of them. > Bartosz -- John _______________________________________________ UX2BS mailing list UX2BS at os2ports.com http://os2ports.com/mailman/listinfo/ux2bs
