Maybe he can comment this posting and add some teasers ;) So the question is what are the next important steps for us, I tried to summarize my ideas in the Wiki at netlabs.org, please have a look at http://wiki.netlabs.org/index.php/Ideas#UnixOS2 As you can see my idea is to port "portage" from Gentoo Linux for building stuff on OS/2. In my opinion this should be possible with relatively few work, at least as soon as Python compiles fine with Innotek LIBC. I *will* work on that as soon as possible but as usual I am quite busy at the moment so everyone what would like to help is for sure welcome :) Also if you have some other ideas please add them to the Wiki, it's a community page after all! (Hint: Simply klick the "Edit" link on top of the page, if you don't know wikis yet please check the introduction at http://wiki.netlabs.org/index.php/Main_Page, section "What is a Wiki"). cu Adrian _______________________________________________ UX2BS mailing list UX2BS at os2ports.com http://os2ports.com/mailman/listinfo/ux2bs **= Email 3 ==========================** Date: Sat, 25 Sep 2004 10:50:05 +0100 From: John Poltorak Subject: Re: Test - Last message received on 2004-07-28 Maybe no one has anything to say... By all means post details of any successes, or even failures, of builds you have had. Maybe it's time to bring a few apps up to date as there are always new versions of apps coming out... Is there a release version of Make available on OS/2 yet? On Fri, Sep 24, 2004 at 01:09:39PM +0200, J.
