The time I looked at the rsync source was before I stumbled over UnixOS2/UX2BS. There wasn't much chance of my building it then. Now I'm getting my hopes up again. Ah, yes, I see. Sorry, I was just following the instructions that I found at http://os2ports.com/content/sections/ux2bs. I'll start over from the other site and try to give you feedback that is more relevant to the current state of UX2BS. I got into some catch22 with config/autoconf versions - ISTRC I gave up :-) I do agree with Anton's analysis though. -- Regards Dave Saville _______________________________________________ UX2BS mailing list UX2BS at os2ports.com http://os2ports.com/mailman/listinfo/ux2bs **= Email 4 ==========================** Date: Wed, 7 Apr 2004 21:28:52 +0100 From: John Poltorak Subject: Re: Rsync on OS/2 On Wed, Apr 07, 2004 at 09:24:34PM +0100, Dave Saville wrote: > On Wed, 7 Apr 2004 at 9:24pm, Anton Monroe wrote: > > >> I thought RSYNC was one of the apps that was buildable using UX2BS... > > > >The time I looked at the rsync source was before I stumbled over > >UnixOS2/UX2BS. It needs to have emxbind run on the final output to work properly. I thought I had included that in the build script at one time but apparently not. > Anton -- John _______________________________________________ UX2BS mailing list UX2BS at os2ports.com http://os2ports.com/mailman/listinfo/ux2bs
