Add a warning that XFree86 won't run lib\pkgconfig needs to be fixed. xcurser.pc and xft.pc are missing their version numbers. xft should be 2.1.0 and xcurser should be 1.0.0. Of course this isn't to important without pkgconfig installed. More and more programs seem to be using pkgconfig. Other then that I've had pretty good luck with the includes and libraries and scripts that come with 4.4 Dave _______________________________________________ UX2BS mailing list UX2BS at os2ports.com http://os2ports.com/mailman/listinfo/ux2bs **= Email 2 ==========================** Date: Wed, 31 Mar 2004 10:16:03 +0000 From: John Poltorak Subject: Re: XFree86 in UX2BS On Tue, Mar 30, 2004 at 11:47:05PM -0800, Dave and Natalie wrote: > On Tue, 30 Mar 2004 14:19:12 +0000, John Poltorak wrote: > > >I'm thinking of adding XFree86 support into UX2BS... > > > >AFAICS, all I need to do initially is add Xprog440.zip to the set of > >Baseline apps and add /usr/X11R6 to the INCLUDE and LIB variables. OK, I'll change those. > Of course this isn't to important without pkgconfig installed. I propose to remove those and add the most recent versions seperately. It would seem that a more appropriate location for them would be /usr than /usr/X11R6 anyway. > Dave -- John _______________________________________________ UX2BS mailing list UX2BS at os2ports.com http://os2ports.com/mailman/listinfo/ux2bs
