Seems people are using both. I was thinking of creating a ux2 list ux2bs = ux2 development ux2 = ux2 distribution For now I'll leave it as is but as you create new ports(build scripts) I'll add them to the ports tree and most importantly add new packages. I have the package tools from Andreas Buening ie; makepkg, but never tried them yet. Probably what I can do is set up an icon like 'add packages' and have it install what you choose via rsync like the 'install xfree86' or 'ports update'. A dialog driven menu would be cool. 'ports' would be an option too because it relies on the development tools. At least not YACC.
