Yes, I use it. It works perfectly well, I would recommend it a lot for all stuff we do with passwd and groups stuff. Bart Van Leeuwen is using it heavily for his multiuser WPS (based on XWP stuff and Security/2). He talks to the author (nickk) a lot and I am sure we can find a way to get this as opensource. Bart is in holidays at the moment but I'm sure he will comment it when he is back cu Adrian -- Adrian Gschwend at netlabs.org ktk [a t] netlabs.org ------- Free Software for OS/2 and eCS http://www.netlabs.org _______________________________________________ UX2BS mailing list UX2BS at os2ports.com http://os2ports.com/mailman/listinfo/ux2bs **= Email 2 ==========================** Date: Mon, 27 Oct 2003 19:10:37 -0800 From: "Dave and Natalie" Subject: Re: UX2BS On Mon, 27 Oct 2003 19:36:01 +0000, John Poltorak wrote: > > >If anyone is able to start from scratch again with UX2BS, could you try >running this:- > >wget ftp://unixos2: at 213.152.37.92/pub/unixos2/build_system/lib/ux2_bootstrap.cmd > > >followed by ux2_bootstrap.cmd > > >I'd like to see exactly how far it gets without any problems. I've already ran into this situation with the iconv.dll shipped with GCC3.2.1. It looks like Innotek is only packaging static versions of libiconv now. This is the best solution as this lib is only a few thousand bytes > >What happens with updates? Will we stuck forever with some old version of >a program like TAR where we do not have the source? Rumour has it they tried to talk EM into changing EMXs license, no go.
