If I put the ux2 installpkg commands on the bootstrap it's all fine when I run it anywhere else from a script that happens. I got it to work late last night actually early this morning. I'll sort through it this afternoon. An option is remove installpg and just unzip them. The problem is the env. uxrt and osrt settings do not migrate to the scripts used with call. If I define the env again in each script all's well. That's doable except for the uxrt and osrt settings. If I can get around that? -- T.Sikora tsikora at ntplx dot net _______________________________________________ UX2BS mailing list UX2BS at os2ports.com http://os2ports.com/mailman/listinfo/ux2bs **= Email 3 ==========================** Date: Wed, 20 Aug 2003 17:07:13 -0400 From: "T.Sikora" Subject: Almost... I put the env wrapped in setlocal on each script it runs right to the final ports crypt and perl were it fails again with no env set. I'll make a wrapper for the 2 port builds with the setlocal env commands. The problem is were not starting off with a shell with a global env set. When a batch process ends it kills the env. Does anyone know who maintains the ux2_base port? We need to add a -o or overwrite without pausing switch to installpkg. It's really annoying to have to hit yes after each ux2 package install. -- T.Sikora tsikora at ntplx dot net _______________________________________________ UX2BS mailing list UX2BS at os2ports.com http://os2ports.com/mailman/listinfo/ux2bs **= Email 4 ==========================** Date: Wed, 20 Aug 2003 18:08:14 -0400 From: "T.Sikora" Subject: Re: Almost... You can call \sbin\ux2_env or \sbin\ux2_shell to use it. Going in \ports\crypt or perl try 'build crypt'. The port build logs are in install\logs and the installed ux2 packages are in var\log\packages. One last detail too. I had it copy gawk to awk just in case and set the ux2_env for awk=gawk. Maybe I should add what I added to /usr/share/config.site to ux2_env? Now to get crypt working. I don't like building perl without it. That's why I added a second omflibs command to ensure the ufc.lib is made. -- T.Sikora tsikora at ntplx dot net _______________________________________________ UX2BS mailing list UX2BS at os2ports.com http://os2ports.com/mailman/listinfo/ux2bs
