What yourve said is my understanding, and yourve done a lot to bring it to this point, as have some others. > Maybe it's a good time to re-examine UX2BS and see what needs to be done > to make it more functional and robust... I view it as something that will grow, as with any project, the rest of the world doesnt stop, and as this progress in the nix world, so will UX2BS Cheers IanM http://www.os2site.com/ "Meddle not in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with ketchup." _______________________________________________ UX2BS mailing list UX2BS at os2ports.com http://os2ports.com/mailman/listinfo/ux2bs **= Email 2 ==========================** Date: Mon, 23 Jun 2003 11:29:46 +1000 (EST) From: "IanM" Subject: Re: UX2BS refresh Hi John > > Works fine here, on the proviso the obvious is done, remove other > > version of files in your path :) > > You should not need to do anything to your path... I had a lot of the files you had included on the system already, all tho in a different directory structure, once I'd taken removed these from Path, DPath I could then compile Perl successfully. ie, there were a lot of duplications, good way to get me to clean up my system. With your build system replacing or putting the path in the front this shouldnt have made a difference, I can only assume maybe you didnt have the dpath or libpath covered, to far back now, as I've integrated it all into my standard paths in config now anyway. Might even have simply been my monster Perl directory as well as the old perl statements in config as well, to late to tell now, important thing is it all works as was designed.
