Use the PIN.EXE and the GhostScript PPD file to add GhostScript to the list of OS/2 postscript printers. (! haven't done this -- I use the Apple Color Laserwriter with ePDF) But all that will do is create a GhostScript PS printer. You need to convert it yourself using GhostScript, or else use ePDF. It's a worthy successor to pmpdf I use ePDF in conjunction with quePDF. quePDF grabs the data from the pipe and invokes ePDF. ePDF has options to post-process the PostScript output which can result in drastically improved PDF files. There's also PDFMerge which works with ePDF. I have used the pmpdf printer as my default printer for a few years now and it does what I have needed. PMPDF is really easy to setup, ePDF may be too but it looks like it is a bit more complicated with more pieces required with no real gain for my use. I need to set it up to try it out, maybe after I get my Thinkpad back from IBMSERV. This one untars just fine. I suspect it will work. The content is very similar. With gfc, I can see that the os/2 .tar was built about 3 weeks after the linux tar and contains some changes that will not affect an OS/2 build. With the ZtBold compare, I can see the corruption.. :-( I'm going to find the newest r2.02 code and build this.
