The available OS/2 port of version 3.4 does not support Unicode stuff, and an updated GNU recode would help to work-around shortcomings of some OS/2 programs like PMMail that don't support UTF-8. I just tried to compile it, but it apparently doesn't like my build environment. If someone wants to give it a try, the source is available here: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/recode/recode-3.6.tar.gz Christian Hennecke **= Email 2 ==========================** Date: Sat, 7 May 2005 20:29:01 +0000 (GMT) From: Nicholas Sheppard Subject: Pine 4.63 Hi all. This is just the usual note to announce that I've uploaded Pine 4.63 for OS/2 to Hobbes, including an OS/2 port of the University of Washington mail servers. All the details are available from the usual place: http://www.zeta.org.au/~nps/software/pine/en/index.html There are no OS/2-specific changes from 4.62. General changes can be found at the University of Washington's site: http://www.cac.washington.edu/pine/changes.html Nick S.
