What would be required to build this on OS/2? We already have open source software on OS/2 which can access SCSI scanners via ASPIROUT.SYS, so couldn't the same be done to access tape drives? -- John **= Email 2 ==========================** Date: Fri, 12 Nov 2004 12:43:30 -0800 From: billn Subject: OS/2 Scanner Software Recently, I upgraded my eCS 1.13 system from a Duron 950 to an XP2400. The next time I went to scan, the system hung hard with a working copy of Review, and my other scan program did not handle an HP with autofeed. It appears that the upgrade is fast enough to overrun the SCSI interface, with a hard lockup. Since I don't want to downgrade, what can you suggest.
