ImageMagick apparently is a Unix program which has been ported to OS/2 according to their website (www.imagemagick.com) but Hobbes does not have it -- does anyone know of the OS/2 port, where I can find it and how up-to-date it is? TIA. **= Email 2 ==========================** Date: Thu, 10 Jun 2004 02:16:35 +0200 (CEST) From: "Sebastian Wittmeier" Subject: Re: ImageMagick Hi Hakan, it's available for XFree86/2 here http://os2ports.com/downloads/index_html?dir=pub/os2/unix/xfree8 6/ports/graphics/ you can also use "real OS/2 software" Embellish (now Freeware) ftp://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/apps/graphics/embos2.zip PMView (time limited shareware) http://www.pmview.com Both support the Sun Raster format. I have installed both and just checked. As I recall, this was missing from the Embellish package. Just copy it from any other program that used it, such as Netscape 4.61. ----------- "Good people do not need laws to tell them to act responsibly, while bad people will find a way around the laws." - Plato (427-347 B.C.) **= Email 6 ==========================** Date: Thu, 10 Jun 2004 12:06:30 +0200 (CEST) From: Mentore Siesto Subject: Re: Embellish Installation Problem On Wed, 9 Jun 2004, Steve Wendt wrote: SW >On Wed, 09 Jun 2004 22:33:31 -0400 (EDT), Hakan wrote: SW > SW >>Embellish did not install on my WSEB workstation -- it failed with the SW >>message "EPFIE144: An error occurred while attempting to load the DLL SW >>'EPFIPII.DLL'." Other possibility is to use the installation programs which come with PMView, Netscape Communicator or many other old programs (the original IBM installer is one of the best os/2 products I've ever seen...) -- Mentore Siesto Team OS/2 Italia
