And there may be others. Is anyone working on this? I've only recently come across Mozilla Calendar which looks pretty handy. I believe it works with a WEBDAV enabled server such as Zope, which I've just got running on OS/2 so would love to try it out... > h~ > -- > Free software, free minds. -- John **= Email 4 ==========================** Date: Sat, 13 Mar 2004 16:54:56 -0500 From: Henry Sobotka Subject: Re: Mozilla Calendar John Poltorak wrote: > > On Sat, Mar 13, 2004 at 02:51:20PM -0500, Henry Sobotka wrote: > > John Poltorak wrote: > > > > > > Is Mozilla Calendar buildable with the latest version of gcc ? > > > > No because of missing dependencies: libart_lgpl (the version in the > > Mozilla tree needs OS/2 patches) and a calendar library whose name I > > forget but that has yet to be ported. I took a run at it about a year ago and see from my notes that it was with the GTK build for XFree86/OS2, that libart_lgpl built cleanly, and that the version of libical I had built was 23, which was missing a struct icaltimezone that was in the version in the Mozilla tree (23a). That's where I left off as I was more concerned with trying to figure out why the GTK build wasn't launching, and ran short of time due to work. h~ -- Free software, free minds. **= Email 5 ==========================** Date: Sun, 14 Mar 2004 10:59:53 +0000 (GMT) From: "Dave Saville" Subject: Re: XFree86/OS2 version 4.4.0 On Fri, 12 Mar 2004 08:06:17 -0800, Dave and Natalie wrote: >On Fri, 12 Mar 2004 11:27:37 +0000 (GMT), Dave Saville wrote: > >>>ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/xfree86/4.3.0/HowTo.txt >>> >>>An updated driver is contained within one of the packages. >> >>Hmm - Just tried V4 on my warp4 fp15 system. Nothing in /usr/adm. One thing though. I also tried on my T21 ECS1.0 system. V3 would never work on that because of the screen. This time I did not redirect the error stream and it whinged about being unable to write to /tmp - because that's on another drive. Put a temp tmp on the same drive and it all ran. However, after startx I got a twm desktop that did not fit the screen. I could not change resolutions and it did not scroll if I hit the edge with the mouse - *and* I could not get back to the OS/2 desktop. Just another black screen and again a locked up keyboard. Had to power cycle the thing. One thing I was not sure about was the keybaord type to tell it to use - T21 UK keyboard, which might have had some bearing on the matter. I don't think the screen parameters matter much with a TFT but I may be wrong. I am loath to try again on the desktop because it has loads of drives with thousands of files and a chkdsk reboot takes half an hour. -- Regards Dave Saville **= Email 6 ==========================** Date: Sun, 14 Mar 2004 11:15:04 +0000 From: John Poltorak Subject: Re: XFree86/OS2 version 4.4.0 On Sun, Mar 14, 2004 at 10:59:53AM +0000, Dave Saville wrote: > Must admit that I never tried the locks. I'd suggest you post your problem along with a copy of your XF86config to the XFreeOS/2 list:- http://ct-mail.citytraffic.de/mailman/listinfo/xfreeos2 > > -- > Regards > > Dave Saville -- John
