I have a build of v4 on ftp.zolotek.net, but note two points: 1. it's not built with "1.85 compatibility" (failed to build) 2. the API has changed vs v3.x, and this could be a problem (see the notes on the Sleepycat site) I intend to build v3.2.9 (the one that comes with Mysql) some time so that I can then attempt to build Mysql 4.x (with gcc), but my build system is currently in need of repair and time has still not been kind to me .. > Nicholas S. > >|\ Location: Wollongong, Australia | Cynicism is the last refuge of the >|\ E-mail: nps at zeta.org.au | idealist. >| WWW: http://www.zeta.org.au/~nps | >| ---> Cynicism & Negativity | > > - Cheers Lyn St George +--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- + http://www.zolotek.net .. eCommerce hosting, consulting + http://www.os2docs.org .. some 'How To' stuff ... +---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **= Email 2 ==========================** Date: Sat, 28 Jun 2003 13:20:25 +0200 (CEST) From: "Sebastian Wittmeier (ShadoW)" Subject: Re: Berkeley DB On Sat, 28 Jun 2003 20:44:51 +1000 (AET), Nicholas Sheppard wrote: >Hi all. Ask Henry Sobotka (did some Berkeley DB compiles) and Andrew MacIntyre (comiles python, which in turn needs Berkeley DB; I believe he wasn't successful, but could give you some clues). I expect I could The code should compile as is, at least I didn't patch it for bogofilter (and it works). I patched it to get it to compile using vac++ (but this is not completed). Yuri Dario also ported it for bogofilter, might be in the bogofilter sourcecode. If you can't get it to compile let me know, I will ask Yuri for latest source cu Adrian -- Adrian Gschwend at netlabs.org ktk [a t] netlabs.org ------- Free Software for OS/2 and eCS http://www.netlabs.org **= Email 5 ==========================** Date: Sat, 28 Jun 2003 20:44:51 +1000 (AET) From: Nicholas Sheppard Subject: Berkeley DB Hi all.
