Be truthful and put the correct string in +your downloader, and please set your threads to TWO. Hi Ian, Wouldn't using wget with an input file help avoid multiple download threads? It's what I use here and AFAICT it gets one file at a time and reuses the connection if all the files for a single site are contiguous in the file. I built a NON-REXX batch script called "mywget.cmd" that looks for a file in the current directory called "getthese" and fires off wget in the background if found. One has to create the "getthese" file by hand and, for now, it needs to be in the directory to which one wishes to download the files. I find I use it regularly to download from both HTTP and FTP sites. If anyone is interested I can post to the list or e-mail instructions on how to use wget in this manner.
