I had to dust off VAC++ 3.0 and put it on a Warp 4 system, and it's giving me no end to the fits. I applied the latest CSDs, and now if I run icc.exe or ipmd.cmd or any compiled program, the system responds with "SYS0193: CPPOM30 cannot be run in a OS/2 session". Any ideas? ----Steve Stephen Amadei Dandy.NET! Since you made an application install that makes changes to the system, you may have to re-apply the fix pack currently on your system. Other than that, I don't know. --- Stephen Amadei wrote: > > Hey guys. > > I had to dust off VAC++ 3.0 and put it on a Warp 4 > system, and it's > giving me no end to the fits. I have the call=cache386 line too. Evetthing looks fine accordoring to cache386 /stats , etc. Any suggestions? I haven't *used* OS/2 in a while getting a little rusty. 24MB cache with Daniella's latest busmaster drivers reduced StarOffice install to 2:11 minutes. Not Bad! It's all in the tweaking. From 44 minutes to 2 now that's drastic. It's averaging 75% read hits and 97% write hits. Hopefully I can help out on getting some of these UnixOS2 ports out in a few weeks when I have this machine setup right. -- Ted Sikora tsikora at unixos2.com http://unixos2.com **= Email 8 ==========================** Date: Fri, 07 Jun 2002 14:01:07 -0400 From: Ted Sikora Subject: Re: JFS+HPFS386 IanM wrote: > > Hi Ted > > >Thanks sorry for driving everyone crazy. I'm sure most of the browsing is done from there. Actually the stats for UnixOS2.org aren't bad. Linux is the overwhelming leader and OS/2 second with Win a close third. Actually OS/2 just recently edged out Windows. Pretty decent stats since March/02. At least someone goes there. http://unixos2.com/stats.php -- Ted Sikora tsikora at unixos2.com http://unixos2.com **= Email 9 ==========================** Date: Fri, 07 Jun 2002 14:28:49 -0400 From: Jack Troughton Subject: Re: JFS+HPFS386 IanM wrote: > Hi Ted > > >>Thanks sorry for driving everyone crazy. Interestingly enough, my website gets just under 50% hits from OS/2 systems. I probably get a lot fewer hits than you do, though...
