Jun,
a port should work like the original (if possible). And when --help
says:

	If a FILE is `-', read standard input.

then this should work (especially if the ported software is used as a
tool
for porting further software, that possibly relies on this very (and
documented)
feature.

Some time ago I rebuilt diff on my computer (using libcext, if this
matters)
because I needed this functionality .
Now diff worked with stdin as input in sh or bash, but not in cmd.exe
(this gives me
a SIGPIPE). This was enough for me at this time, so I did not
investigate further.

Can you please compare your port's behaviour with this?
